WHAT ARE THEY GONNA SAY NOW?

For a long-time collector, I was able to capture a very special moment in the career of Wardell Stephen "Steph" Curry II on canvas.

In a historic Game 6 of the NBA Finals 2022, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors triumphed to claim the championship title, solidifying Curry's legacy as one of the greatest players in NBA history.

Curry's outstanding performance throughout the series earned him the prestigious Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award for the first time in his career.

With an average of 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game in the series, Curry's impact on the court was undeniable.

In the decisive Game 6, he continued his dominance, contributing 34 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds.

This remarkable display marked a significant rebound from his challenging Game 5, where he missed all his nine 3-point attempts.

The intensity of the moment was palpable as Curry, who had faced criticism for his lack of a Finals MVP trophy, embraced the recognition.

As the Larry O'Brien trophy was handed to him by Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum, Curry defiantly exclaimed,

"WHAT ARE THEY GONNA SAY NOW?"
